Abstract:
This article deals with the topical issue of human rights protection by companies. Companies, like other legal entities, can have adverse effects on human rights. The primary aim is therefore to analyse Directive (EU) 2024/1760 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 13, 2024, on corporate sustainability due diligence and amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and Regulation (EU) 2023/2859, which, once transposed, will establish due diligence for companies in the field of human rights protection.
